Steering my wardrobe towards a core color palette
It's been a while since I posted an #ootd, but I've been spending this time letting go and revising my wardrobe. I selected some staple colors that I want to keep consistent in my wardrobe and it's going great! I'm taking my time in replacing items as I also don't want to waste, but at the same time seeing if I can live without certain items in order to pare down.
The colors I've chosen are: black, navy, white/ivory, and gray. For punches of color, I've chosen trendier, less expensive items, as well as bags and other accessories so that I can still have some fun.
This #ootd features my latest coat acquisition from Lucky Brand (that I got for an amazing steal!) that covers my color palette, as well as my latest obsession, leather (faux or real) detailing. I've been wearing it constantly as our weather is trying to decide whether to be warm or cool, and layering it with cardigans, blazers, and blanket scarves.
