Even better than I had hoped! My first Allowance Item of 2018
Today marks the third complete week into my 2018 wardrobe ban - so far, it really hasn't been as tough as I thought it would be. It might help that I was completely out of commission for a week with a crazy flu, or that I had a couple items to exchange left over from December 2017 that made it feel like I was shopping even when I wasn't.
ANYWAY, the item I have picked up so far, is my Burberry key pouch and it's even better in real life than I had hoped! I'm so happy about it and relieved I decided to just suck it up and buy it, instead of passing it over because I was feeling guilty that it was so soon into my ban. WHEW!
It's made in Italy and the best part about it when I saw photos of it, was that my keys were going to stay inside but easily accessible with the wide 3/4 zip opening. Now that I've received it, there's two better reasons why it's such a great purchase!
1) There is a gusset on the side to keep my things even safer. The 3/4 opening means it's easy to get things in and out of due to the wide opening, but it gives potential for things to fall out easily when I'm grabbing the items. The gusset keeps everything secure and in place, but still gives that wide opening. Fantastic!
2) The thing that I loved the most about the pouch is that the key chain is attached inside of the pouch. It allows me to keep everything together and makes it easier to hang on to my keys and pouch if I don't have enough hands. I discovered upon receiving it, is that not only is it attached, it can ALSO BECOME DETACHED because there is a button snap inside. What a great design feature!!! I'm so impressed with it.
So my first Allowance Item is a huge winner, and I have no regrets!
