Hello

Welcome to my public thoughts on my personal life goals. In 2014, I set out to change my lifestyle, and I began with the best way I knew how - my closet. I share with you, how the road to Perfecting My Closet, is helping me achieve my ultimate life goals.

2017 Budget recap

I’m my previous post (here) I shared how much exactly was spent towards my wardrobe; update from the previous post is that I actually spent $2,152.81 since I returned some jeans, also leaving me with 59 items added and only 2 pairs of jeans coming in.

I mentioned that not every item count that came in went against my budget, so I’m the end, I spent  $1,163.64  - I exceeded my budget by  $163.64!

Not too bad if you ask me.

Could I have done better? Ya, absolutely. While a lot were wardrobe fillers and replacements, there were a number of items I didn’t need, such as the pencil skirts, Coach SLGs, and my non-wishlist belts. Without those items, I easily would have been within budget. But ya gotta be realistic and also not feel deprived. My budget wasn’t to punish, but to just give me an idea of my spending and also make me think a little more of whether I really want something enough to take from my budget.

I’m pleased to share that I’ve been using every item I’ve purchased this year on a regular basis and feel really content about everything. No regrets!

A final hurrah!
