Lovin' my 2 new bags from Mango, Lotte Centre
It's been a long time since I purchased a non-designer bag but I couldn't resist picking these 2 up during my time in Korea. I used to work for Mango during my university years and I've always loved their style. There isn't one readily available in Vancouver except in the airport in the international side, so it was fun to check things out again when we were in the Lotte Centre.
The first is a red crossbody with 3 separate compartments - it resembles the Celine trio, but instead of 3 separate zip compartments, mine has one zipper and closes all three compartments, while the middle compartment also has an independent zip closure. I also really like that the tab has a button that actually snaps into the side of the bag so that when you use it as a clutch, it looks more streamlined. I moved into this immediately during my trip for a hands-free option and it was wonderful. I love that the strap can be detached to be used as a clutch. The red is gorgeous and I received compliments immediately. Prior to my trip, I was looking for a crossbody to use during my trip that would fit my iPad mini and this one does! Perfect!
The second one is a simple pouch on a chain that I've surprisingly used twice already since I've been home. Surprising because I normally carry everything and the kitchen sink with me but due to my jet lag, I wasn't thinking and I just transported the bare necessities I needed and it's been working! I like that there are credit card slots built into the pouch. I'm hoping my jet-lagged experience will teach me that I can downsize, and I'll do it more regularly.
