Boscia Luminizing Black Mask
This is one of my favourite masks to do - I love how it looks, like thick ink and it has a nice tingly feeling when I'm applying it. Some reviewers said they felt they had to use a lot of the stuff and that for the price ($42CAD for 2.8 oz) and the amount of product you use, it wasn't worth it, but I didn't find I had to use too much - it spreads very easily, not too runny and not too thick, giving me good control and coverage.
The more you have on the longer you have to wait to make sure it's really dried up but then the fun part comes of removing it and it's super satisfying. Just be careful not to leave it on for too long, it does hurt (too long being, you forget about it and watch three too many episodes of the Mindy Project).
It comes off really easily and clean and anything left over you can just wipe off with a damp cloth.
One thing I'm not too keen on is that it seems to make my pores larger on my cheeks - they close up afterwards, but still, something rather unsettling about that. I do get a very clean feeling but it's the only mask that does that.
I use this about once a month or when the weather is changing and my skin needs some extra help to remove any dead skin. It feels really refreshing every time and something about the smell of it makes me feel like my skin is suuuuper clean.
Would I buy it again? Yup! I would. I can understand why some people may not appreciate the price ($42), but for my needs, it's not too bad - my daily regime really does not cost me too much and because I have such sensitive skin, I can't actually do too much extra to it without risking random flare ups, thus saving me quite a bit of money on products. My total yearly expenses may cost me about $300 per year?
