KOREA, curated - April 2016 discovery box
Our April KOREA, curated box arrived and I'm excited to show you what's inside =)
We got an interesting variety of things this month, including a signed copy by Korean indie band, Jun Bum Sun & the Yangbans, tape (yes, tape haha), cold noodles, and more socks!
In the edibles category, we received individually packed citron yuja tea; cold noodles which I'm super excited to try because it's getting hot outside and I love instant noodles (if I could choose instant noodles as a favourite food and not attract judgement, I would); and limited edition yuja pie.
For non-edibles, we have a cd; organic socks(!!! - yahoo! since you all know how much I dislike buying socks); tape; cherry blossom post-its; a postcard; and the latest L-TOY.
My favourite things from this month's subscription box are the "Don't Buy, Adopt Me" organic cotton socks. Not only do I not have to buy socks, but more importantly, it raises awareness about environmental issues and animal welfare. To top it off, Green Bliss donates a portion of their proceeds from the sales of these socks to the Korean Animal Welfare Association. I think everyone can get behind these!
... and also the individually packaged Citron tea! If you're unfamiliar with it, they usually come in large jars and the texture is similar to marmalade. You just mix it in with hot water and you have a delicious citrusy drink, perfect for cold days or to soothe your throat if you're feeling under the weather. I've always loved the drink but I've only ever seen them in the large jars so this is perfect for me to bring to the office, or carry around with me in my purse.
