Welcome to my public thoughts on my personal life goals. In 2014, I set out to change my lifestyle, and I began with the best way I knew how - my closet. I share with you, how the road to Perfecting My Closet, is helping me achieve my ultimate life goals.

2016 versus 2017's Wishlist

Since I can't buy anything else this year, I've started to think about next year's Wishlist. I think 2016 was quite a successful year - I managed to check off 2 of my items without breaking the bank, with the most difficult one being my pre-loved Speedy.

2016's Wishlist comprised of:

  • Black wedge ankle boots
  • Gray leather bag
  • Gray wool winter coat - GOT IT!
  • Navy sheath dress
  • Pre-loved Speedy 35/40 - GOT IT!
  • Black sheath dress

There won't be too many things from 2016's list that will carry into 2017. I am still on the lookout for black ankle boots but have decided that they can be any style, since I've seen quite a few that aren't wedges that I quite like. I won't be looking for a gray leather bag anymore as I have many bags right now that I'm happy using and lately I've been seeing a shift in my interest of designers so I think I'm at a point in my collecting where I'm ready to heavily downsize and looking to upgrade a bit. (I'm not in a rush to upgrade; I'm going to continue to enjoy my bags thoroughly and slowly make my shift, making sure I'm not letting go of any bags on a whim.) Lastly, I don't think I want a navy sheath dress anymore; I love navy, but I've tried a few and I don't think it looks that good on me as a dress. So the only item I'm still looking for is a black sheath dress.

2017's Wishlist as follows:

  • Black sheath dress
  • Black ankle boots
  • Sweater dress (preferably in gray)
  • Casual jacket
  • Ivory/off-white skinny belt with gold hardware
  • Long black vest
  • Longer, less structured black blazer
  • Ivory or cream colored cashmere sweater
  • Pre-loved Louis Vuitton Samur (definitely not a rush, and I really need to let go of some bags first)

Looking forward to seeing which of those items I'll find next year!
