Rave!!! - Honey Cera repair lip balm from Etude House
With the exception of a random limited edition item, or hard to find piece, here and there, there are not many things in the world that I go out of my way to get; especially, skincare.
I'm pretty basic when it comes to taking care of my skin - with my skin's temperament, I stick to "less is more" and that means I don't usually have to go out of my way for something.
Enter, THIS AMAZING LIP BALM - yes, all caps, because that's how amazing this thing is. I bought it when I was in Korea as purely an impulse purchase because I wanted to quality for the VAT refund at Etude House. Minimum purchase is 35,000 won, if memory serves me right.
I started using it when I got home, around the end of August, and it was a fast favourite - fast forward to November and I need to replenish! This may be the the only product I've used regularly, and often, aside from my face wash (and obvious other toiletries =P) and am thankful that a friend, of a friend of mine, was in Hong Kong last month, and helped me pick up 2 more of them. They should last me until March next year if I'm careful with them. I should have asked for more.
From its angled application tip to the sleek packaging, I was already in love. The lip balm itself is soooo amazing - glides on smooth, provides a slight glisten, keeps my lips hydrated for hours, and smells goooood. It really does smell like honey (without being overpowering), and the first time I had it on, my husband actually said I looked made-up, even though I had nothing on but this balm. Bonus points.
This is going to be a must-have for me. You don't have to go to Asia to find this, you can order it from Amazon.com (not .ca, unfortunately). It's about $7-$8, and normally I would cringe ad spending that amount on lip balm, but this one is really worth it.
